Please be advised that there may be manufacturing and shipping delays due to events surrounding the ongoing pandemic. Thank you kindly for your understanding.

The International Dance Shoes factory will be closed between July 20 and August 8, 2022. Made to order products purchased during that time will therefore be shipped out 5-10 business days from August 9, 2022.

 SHIPPING POLICY

TEDI currently ships to the U.S. and Canada.

Please be advised that you will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs (as disclosed at the time of checkout) and return shipping costs (as disclosed after requesting a return). All shipping costs are dependent upon your location and the number of products being shipped, and are also non­refundable. If you request a return, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refunded amount.

Import taxes and/or duties are only covered by TEDI on shipments to the U.S. and Canada. If an item is ever shipped to a destination outside the U.S. or Canada, you will also be responsible for paying any import taxes or additional shipping charges that may arise once the item is delivered.

SHIPPING INFORMATION BY BRAND

INTERNATIONAL DANCE SHOES

All products made by International Dance Shoes are shipped from the U.K. unless otherwise specified. Products that are in stock are typically shipped out 1-3 business days from the date of purchase, whereas made to order products are typically shipped out 5-10 business days from the date of purchase. Please also allow about 1-3 business days for your products to be delivered. If you would like to know whether the product you are interested in is in stock in the U.K. or made to order in the U.K., please see the item's product description on its respective product page. Please also be advised that if you choose to return any items made by International Dance Shoes, these products will be returned back to the U.K. unless otherwise specified or arranged. Return shipping charges may differ from initial shipping charges paid.

RETURN POLICY

If you purchase a product from our online store and decide that you would like to return it, you have 30 calendar days to do so from the date you received it, unless it is considered a non-refundable item as described below. Once a return is requested, it takes about 1-4 business days for us to process the return and send a return shipping label, and about 1-4 business days for us to receive the order once it has been shipped. As a result, a return request should be submitted a minimum of 8 business days in advance of the 30 day deadline, and the package should be shipped a minimum of 4 business days in advance of the 30 day deadline. If there is a delay in the arrival of the return on the part of the third party shipping provider, the return will still be accepted whenever it is delivered as long as it was shipped out 4 business days in advance on the return deadline.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be unused and in the same condition that you received it. With regards to dance shoes, if you would like to try them on then please do so minimally on a carpeted surface so as not to damage the suede soles. If products are returned and show even minimal amounts of wear, they will be sent back to you at your expense and a refund will not be issued. We greatly appreciate your cooperation in ensuring that all of our customers have access to high quality products, all of which are consistently delivered in perfect condition. 

HOW TO REQUEST A RETURN

To process your return, please send us an email at info@theequaldanceinitiative.com with your order number, return request, and the reason for your return. Upon receipt of your message, TEDI will email you a return form, a prepaid shipping label, notify you of the return shipping fee, and provide you with instructions on how to return the product. Please be advised that your items must be received in the original packaging, and the shipment must include the Return Form provided. The package itself must also have the words "Return to Manufacturer" written clearly on the outside.

ONCE YOUR RETURN IS APPROVED

If your return is officially approved upon the receipt of your items, we will initiate a refund to your credit card (or original method of payment) for the price paid less the original shipping charges and prepaid return shipping charges. Refunds for items received as gifts will be credited to the purchaser’s original form of payment for the price paid less the original shipping charges and the pre-paid return shipping charges. Refunds for items purchased using a TEDI gift card will be put back onto a gift card less the original shipping charges and pre-paid return shipping charges.

You will receive the credit within approximately 7-10 days after the return processing date.  Depending on your card issuer's policies, it may take up to 2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your monthly statement.

The only time that TEDI will cover return shipping costs is if a product exemplifies a manufacturer’s defect. If you experience an issue that you believe falls into this category, please contact one of our team members at info@theequaldanceinitiative.com. We will be happy to review your case and, if approved, provide you with free return shipping, a free product replacement, and free shipping to have the new item delivered to you. Please note that to be eligible for a free product replacement, defective products must be reported to TEDI within one year from the date of purchase. The free product replacement must also be identical to the model that is being replaced unless it is no longer available, in which case you can select another product of equal or lesser value of the cost initially paid. 

NON-REFUNDABLE ITEMS

There are a few specific items that are considered final sale and therefore non-refundable. Please see the list of non-refundable products below as categorized by brand.

INTERNATIONAL DANCE SHOES

Any products that have the word “Bespoke” written anywhere in the product line or description (all of which includes shoes with IDS:ID and customized soles) are final sale and non-refundable.

ONE-YEAR LIMITED WARRANTY

TEDI is committed to selling products of the highest quality that are curated by the leading professional ballroom and Latin dance companies in the world. Your product is warranted to be free of defects in materials of workmanship, under normal use, for a period of one year from the date of purchase. This limited warranty excludes damage resulting from improper care of handling, accidents, modification, unauthorized repairs, normal wear or other causes which are not defects in materials and workmanship.  This limited warranty is in place of all other express and implied warranties of any kind, which are hereby excluded. In no event shall TEDI be liable for direct, indirect, incidental or consequential damages arising out of the use of the product, and any recovery is limited to the purchase price. No other person or company is authorized to change this limited warranty.

Some jurisdictions do not allow limitation on how long an implied warranty lasts, or exclusion of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitations may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may also have other rights, which vary from state to state or province to province. The foregoing is without prejudice to other legal rights that may arise under applicable national legislation. The warranty extends only to products purchased directly from our website.

COUPON CODES, DISCOUNT CODES AND GIFT CARDS

Any coupon codes and/or discounts for products purchased on our website can only be applied towards the base price of any applicable products as they are listed at checkout, and not towards any taxes, duties or shipping costs. TEDI reserves the right to modify or discontinue this offer at any time.

Any discounts, coupons or other promotional offerings are only valid for customers who reside in the U.S. or Canada and can only be applied to merchandise, unless otherwise specified. Discounts cannot be combined with any other offers or promotions. The discounts have no cash value, are nontransferable and cannot be sold. There is no cash or credit value or cash back. TEDI reserves the right to modify or discontinue the offer at any time. Void where prohibited by law. Coupons expire after one use.

Gift cards are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash, have no cash value and have to be used within three years from date of purchase.  If any items are purchased using a TEDI gift card and those products are returned, that refund will be put back onto a gift card less the original shipping charges and pre-paid return shipping charges.
